Meet The Team

Ved Kapic - Owner, Bike Fitter

Ved, our resident bike fitter, brings 17 years of triathlon racing experience to our athlete clients, offering deep insight into performance needs and race-day demands. He has completed 14 full-distance Ironman races and many more Ironman 70.3 races, giving him a broad and practical background across distances. His wealth of knowledge, combined with a genuine passion for aerodynamics and an understanding of the critical importance of a proper bike fit, ensures that every athlete receives a tailored setup that improves comfort, efficiency, and speed. Ved has completed Levels 1 and 2 Retül Fit Certification.

Steve Zwierzchowski - Master Bike Mechanic

Steve, our Master Bike Mechanic, is an experienced bicycle mechanic specializing in high-end road, triathlon, and performance bikes. With a strong background working on premium components and modern systems—including electronic shifting, hydraulic disc brakes, and aerodynamic setups—he understands what it takes to keep bikes running at their best.

He takes a detail-oriented, practical approach to every service, from complete builds to fine-tuning and troubleshooting more complex issues. Steve’s goal is simple: to make sure every bike is reliable, efficient, and ready to perform—whether it’s for race day or everyday riding.

Benny Kapic - Director of First Impressions

Benny is our resident four‑legged friend who often frequents the fit studio. His responsibilities include greeting all of our athletes and brightening everyone’s day with a wagging tail and friendly nuzzle. Of course, he also enjoys a treat or two.

What is Retül Fit Certification?

Retül Level 1 Certification: The foundation of every great fit starts with the body. Retül Level 1 certification trains fitters in the science of human movement — covering biomechanical assessment, precise sizing, and live 3D motion capture using the Retül Vantage system. Every road and gravel fit at AEROVED is built on this rigorous, technology-backed methodology.

Retül Level 2 Certification: Reserved for fitters who go deeper. Level 2 is advanced training that builds on Level 1 with complex biomechanical analysis, dynamic real-time adjustments, and specialized expertise in triathlon, aero, and mountain bike configurations. It's the difference between a good fit and one that holds up under race-day pressure, long miles, and the demands of a serious athlete.

Our Mission Statement

At AEROVED, we provide a refined, professional, athlete-centered environment where attention to detail leads to great results. We specialize in precision bike fitting and service designed around the individual athlete, as well as the design and engineering of performance gear.

Our Philosophy

A bike fit is more than data points. It’s the blend of careful physical assessment, sharp eyes, advanced tools, real-world race experience, and an athlete’s own feedback. Driven by the one thing you can’t measure: Heart!" - Ved, Owner/Bike Fitter
